Patricia "Pat" May Basinger

b. August 10, 1936 Mount Clemens, Michigan
d. April 28, 2020 Arizona

Cotton's parents moved his family to Chandler, Arizona in 1949 and Pat moved there with her mother and step-father around 1952. Shortly after she arrived she met Cotton and within months of dating, they married on December 12, 1953. Together they raised six children. Cotton worked mainly in construction, and his true passion was the "cowboy" way of life.

They spent many weekends at rodeos and in 1966, purchased an 80 acre ranch in Elgin, Arizona which they named the Quarter Circle B Ranch. Leasing several other parcels of land to run cattle on, Cotton continued in construction with Asarco, Inc. in Hayden, Arizona. In 1982, Cotton and Pat started a construction business, Service Insulation Systems, Inc., along with his brother, Ron. Pat took care care of the family and enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, sewing, quilting, traveling with family and friends and was always "on the go". She was involved with many organizations such as the Sonoita/Elgin Cowbelles, Fair & Rodeo Association, Sonoita/Elgin Quilt Club and the Sonoita Bible Church.

Cotton and Pat are buried next to her mother, Martha Louise Spore.

She and Cotton had six children: Debbie Basinger, Tyler Basinger, Judy Basinger Jablonski, Terri Basinger Powers, Sherri Basinger Stout, and Mike Basinger.
