Lloyd John Feldmann
b. November 12, 1914 Port Washington, Wisconsin
d. April 23, 2000 Sonoita, Arizona
Lloyd was born in Port Washington (Milwaukee), Wisconsin. At age four his family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated from high school and later from Lincoln Chiropractic College. In 1936 he married Mildred Ruth Scott.
His love of the sea included several trips around the world and countless merchant trips to Cuba. He later served in the US Merchant Marine Fleet as First Officer on munition ships.
After the war in 1945, Lloyd moved his family of four boys to Tucson, where they established a home and waited for Mildred who had contracted tuberclosis and was convalescing in a sanitarium in Clearwater, Forida. Reunited after living in Tucson for a short time, the family moved to Sonoita in 1948. Mildred made a full recovery.
Lloyd worked for Lumber Distributors (Sunset Lumber) for 28 years as an outside sales representative. He was very successful and well-known, and his accounts included every large housing project built in Tucson in the 50's and 60's. He retired in 1973 and he and Millie pursued their hobbies of fishing, travel, treasure hunting, working on the family ranch and a strong commitment to the Sonoita Bible Church.
Lloyd and Millie had seven sons: Lloyd, Russell, Larry, Dale, David, Stephen, and Kurt.
