Along the way Norma earned her college degree, and she always stressed the importance of learning, sometimes working as a substitute teacher and librarian. Norma loved to entertain, making great friends everywhere she went. She was artistic, painting original oils and practicing crafts from refinishing dressers to framing pieces of depression-era glass. Whether exposing her kids to Patsy Cline, splurging on a store-bought cheeseburger when dad was on the road, or listening to bluegrass at Lila's, Norma loved life deeply. Norma spent the last two years in Many Farms with Kathleen, her pets and a big sky.
