Maria Louise Martha Spore
b. December 5, 1911 Belgium
d. February 10, 1997 Sierra Vista, Arizona
Martha was the daughter of Alphonse Jerome Seynaeve & Maria Louise Lommens. When she was seven months old, she emigrated to Canada and about five years later, to the United States. She married Alvin O. DeShano in 1933, and they had two children, Alvin Alphonse born in 1934, and Patricia May (Basinger) born in 1936. Martha divorced Alvin in 1941, received her U.S. citizenship in 1951, and in 1952 she married Frank Spore in Yuma, Arizona. Frank died in a car accident in 1962.
Martha is buried at Black Oak next to her daughter, Pat, and her son-in- law, Delbert 'Cotton' Basinger.
